Services

For over 40 years our experienced staff has offered grooming services for all types of birds seven days a week. Wing and nail clipping are offered as a free service for all birds purchased at our store for the original purchaser (This offer does not transfer to new owners. Ask for details!). Grooming services are also offered for any bird not purchased from our store at the following rates:

ALL birds are REQUIRED to have their own clean, appropriately-sized towel for grooming. Large birds will require their own nail file if you want the nails filed during clipping.

$7.00 for small birds: canaries, finches, budgies, lovebirds, parrotlets, grass parakeets, and cockatiels.
$10.00 for all other parrots (including softbills).

Our Feathered Friends offers the highest quality boarding facility in Southern California. We offer large, secure, clean and comfortable cages for all birds from finches to macaws. Our boarding facility is separate from our retail store and our experienced staff provides seed, fruits, and veggies daily for all our guests. If your bird is on a special diet we will care for them just like at home.

Daily Boarding rates are:

• $7.00 day for small birds (finch, canary, parakeet, lineolated, lovebird, cockatiel, dove, and parrotlet.)
• $10.00 day for medium birds (kakariki, rosella, ringneck, conure*, small poicephalus such as: senegal, red-belly, Meyer’s, and brownheaded.)
• $12.00 day for large birds (caique, golden conure, Alexandrine, large poicephalus like Jardine’s and Capes, pionus, eclectus, african grey, amazon, lorikeet *must provide own food*, small cockatoos such as: goffin, bare-eyed, lesser, and rose-breasted, and mini macaws such as: Hahn’s, yellow-collar, and severe.)
• $14.00 day for extra large birds (medium and large cockatoos: medium sulphur, slenderbilled, triton, moluccan), medium and large macaws: including Red-Fronted, and any softbills *must provide own softbill food*.)

Pre-paid monthly rates are also available at a 15% discount:

• $5.95 day for small birds (finch, canary, parakeet, lineolated, lovebird, cockatiel, dove, and parrotlet.)
• $8.50 day for medium birds
